Biography

Alexis Sweat, DVM, is a clinical veterinarian and professor in the
College of Agriculture and School of Veterinary Medicine at Utah State University.
Her emphasis is in clinical instruction of students. She has had experience in
education of clients, extension opportunities and continuing education for other
veterinarians. Dr. Sweat has a wide variety of interests in veterinary medicine. Her life experience in the agricultural industry as part of a family owned cow-calf beef operation continues to guide her career path and interests.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Sweat has interest in teaching a wide variety of subjects revolving around veterinary medicine and the agricultural industry.

Research Interests

Dr. Sweat's research interests are focused on assisting researchers accomplish the necessary procedures and medicine required to pursue their projects.
