Infection and Immunity

Viral, bacterial, protozoal and helminth pathogens present a significant challenge to the well-being of companion, agricultural, and wild animals as well as humans. Faculty who conduct research on infection and immunity study the organisms that cause disease, the bodies response to pathogens, and strategies for preventing and treating infectious diseases.
