We are thrilled to announce the intention of our college to offer a comprehensive, four-year veterinary medicine program, further cementing our commitment to the advancement of animal health, public health, and biomedical sciences in Utah and throughout the region. Once accredited, the college will offer Utah’s first Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, as well as other related degree programs. The intention of the USU CVM is to admit its first class in fall of 2025, pending approval from AVMA’s Council on Education.
The College of Veterinary Medicine as part of Utah State University is established on a strong tradition of innovation, a commitment to one health, and a dedication to serving both local and global communities. We are excited to embark on this new chapter, and we invite you to discover more about how USU CVM is redefining the field of veterinary education and research, preparing our students to become leaders and innovators in their chosen careers.
