Purpose and Use

The Photo Drop Box provides students, faculty, and staff with a convenient way to share photographs that highlight life at the USU College of Veterinary Medicine. These photos may be used for:

  • Marketing & Promotional Materials – including brochures, social media, newsletters, presentations, and the college website.
  • Class Histories & Legacy Projects – to help document the student experience and preserve memories for each graduating class.

We encourage submissions of candid, high-quality images from events, labs, clinics, outreach activities, and everyday student life!

Photo Release Information

By uploading a photo, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • I hereby grant Utah State University permission to use my likeness captured in any photographs related to my participation in Utah State University classes or other university activities.
  • I understand and agree that these materials, taken in association with various student projects, will not be returned to me in any manner. I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of these images.
  • I release and forever discharge Utah State University from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, or estate may have related to this authorization.
  • I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older and competent to contract in my own name. I have read and understand this release and its implications.

Content Guidelines & Disclaimers

To ensure professionalism and respect for privacy, all photos submitted must adhere to the following content standards:

  • No Identifiable Client-Owned Animals – Do not upload photos of animals from external clients unless you have explicit written permission and have removed any identifying information.
  • Maintain Confidentiality – Images must not disclose protected health information or show sensitive procedures that could compromise patient, client, or institutional privacy.
  • Professionalism – All photos should reflect the values and standards of USU CVM. Avoid images that contain inappropriate behavior, dress, language, or gestures.
  • Safety Compliance – Submissions should not depict violations of PPE, lab, or animal handling protocols.
  • Image Ownership – You must own or have taken the photo yourself or have received permission from the original photographer to submit the image.

USU CVM reserves the right to remove or decline any submission that does not meet these standards.
