Remuneration
The CVM provides remuneration to the AVIP site and not to the preceptor of record, allowing preceptor compensation to be dispersed according to the terms of their employment contract. The AVIP Site will receive $1,250.00 per student, for each week it hosts a student at their site. This money is intended to offset the AVIP Site associated expenses during a rotation. Any expenses incurred above and beyond this payment shall be covered by the AVIP Site. Payments will be processed only after receiving (from the Preceptor of Record) all final student assessments, once a rotation is complete.
