4th Year Clinical Rotations

During the clinical year, students complete an 11-block clinical model consisting of five required rotation blocks, five elective rotation blocks, and one final Externship / Directed Clinical Experience block. Required rotations ensure exposure to essential clinical disciplines and patient populations needed for entry-level veterinary practice. Elective rotations provide structured flexibility within approved, college-overseen clinical environments. Block 11 serves a dual-path function and may be completed as either an externship or a directed clinical experience, depending on student progress and program needs. Together, these represent 11 four-week clinical blocks (44 weeks) of hands-on clinical education.
